Our Vision of Partnership: We are looking for businesses in our community that are eager to invest in the future generation of problem solvers. We envision a partnership where long-term relationships are formed between the business, community, and school through direct involvement with our students. Businesses that are exposing them to the real-world connections of STEM.
See our current list of STEM Partners, including how they support our future scientists, engineers, and problem solvers, on our STEM Partnerships website.
Opportunities for Partnership:
“Own a Grade” by supporting a STEM Focus Problem. Providing supplies, field trip opportunities, volunteers to judge designs, incentives for winners, business vs. student design competition, etc.
“Own a TNT” by supporting STEM TNT Courses such as Engineering is Elementary, Lego Robotics, Junior Master Gardeners, Coding, Digital Production, or Invent America. This could include, but is not limited to, speaking engagements, mini-field trips, donation of supplies, volunteers to support content, etc.
Two to three times a year involvement with students in a capacity such as content visit, career day, and skype chats
Two or three small donations (supplies, incentives, or monetary) to various activities such as STEM focus problems, TNT classes, Engineering Specials course
Sponsorship of a school event such as Technology Fair, Science Fair, or STEM Family night. This would involve sending volunteers to help run the event, supplying activities for the event, and/or a monetary donation to help provide the event for our students.
Once a year visit to business location with small groups of students to see STEM processes in action
Once a year Skype conversation with students about business connection
Supplies donation of any amount to support TNT courses, Engineering Lab, or Focus Problems.

Our commitment to you: MTA students and faculty commit to being good stewards of any donations of time, supplies, or monies. We will provide your business with an annual summary including pictures, examples of projects, and student testimonies of the impact your partnership had on our school that year as well as recognition of your contributions. Your staff will be invited to various events throughout the school year to see your impact in action including events such as STEM Showcase Night and Partnership Honor Banquet.
If you feel like your company, background knowledge, skill set, or expertise would be a good fit for MTA, please contact our STEM Coordinator to set up a meeting. Courtney.Carver@hallco.org
