Officer Berman brings an incredible background to our school community! She grew up in the Philippines and has called Canada, New York, and South Florida home. She holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in NYC.
And there’s more! 🐾 Since 2020, she has been a Bloodhound K9 handler with her amazing partner, Ryley.
We can’t wait for our students, staff, and families to get to know Officer Berman and for her to become an important part of our Marlin family.

We couldn’t be more proud of Mrs. C. Shadburn’s first grade class, our September SWIM Award winners for Showing Respect! 💙✨
These Marlins consistently receive compliments for the kindness and respect they show throughout our building. One teacher who spends time with them at specials shared that they are “the kindest group of students I’ve ever worked with. They are so sweet to their friends and are always willing to help others!” 🥹💙
What an incredible compliment and a true reflection of what it means to Show Respect!
