Thank you to all our parents for helping Car Rider Line run so smoothly! Safety is always our number one priority, so please read the following car rider procedures carefully.
– The morning car rider line is open from 7:15 to 7:40 am.
– Please do not let your children out of the car before the 7:15 bell rings because there are no adults outside to watch them for safety.
-Please utilize BOTH lanes for both morning and afternoon traffic. This is imperative for getting our line off the main road. Also, follow the merge arrows at the bottom of the hill to merge into one line.
– All parents MUST TURN RIGHT when leaving our car rider driveway during school hours. If you need to go left towards Atlanta Highway, you need to turn right and head to the round-about to come back towards Atlanta Highway. Do NOT use the apartment or church driveways to turn around. This causes a very dangerous traffic situation for our traffic direction and other cars.
-Teachers can not unbuckle students. Please have your child practice unbuckling themselves and being ready to “hop out quickly” in the mornings.
– At the 7:40 bell, all teachers on duty MUST go inside because there are students in the building waiting for them.
– If you arrive after the 7:40 bell rings, you need to will need walk with your child to the front and check them in. Please park in the front parking lot when walking students in.
– Please do NOT let your child out of your car in the morning without an adult standing at the designated spot where your car is. There are moving cars in the parking lot and this is very unsafe as they are typically driving quickly and may not see students.
-Car line typically is more full on rainy/cold mornings. Please allow enough time to get through the line before 7:40.
-Do not utilize the car rider parking lot during open car rider times (7:15 – 7:40 am and 2:25 – 2:50 pm). If you are planning on walking your child in, please use the front parking lot. It is very unsafe to have families walking through our moving traffic line in the mornings.
-Afternoon Car Rider line is open from 2:25 – 2:50.
-Anyone picking up a student in afternoon car rider must have a valid MTA Car Tag. NO EXCEPTIONS Pictures of tags and handwritten tags will not be accepted. You can purchase a car tag in the gym at Open House, or in the Front Office any time during the school year. The first tag is free, each additional tag is $1.
-Teachers can not buckle students in the car. We also need the line to continue moving. If you need to help your child get buckled, please pull up to the extra driveway area at the top of the hill and use that area to park and buckle up.
-If someone needs to pick-up a child and does not have a car tag, they will need to go to the front office to check the student out. Please bring valid ID.

– NO deje que su hijo salga de su automóvil por la mañana sin un adulto parado en el lugar designado donde está su automóvil. Hay autos en movimiento en el estacionamiento y esto es muy inseguro ya que generalmente conducen rápido y es posible que no vean a los estudiantes.
-La línea de automóviles generalmente está más llena en las mañanas lluviosas o frías. Permita suficiente tiempo para pasar la línea antes de las 7:40.
-No utilice el estacionamiento para pasajeros en automóvil durante los horarios abiertos para pasajeros en automóvil (7:15 a. m. a 7:40 a. m. y 2:25 a 2:50 p. m.). Si planea entrar con su hijo, use el estacionamiento del frente. Es muy inseguro que las familias caminen por nuestra línea de tráfico en movimiento por las mañanas.
-La línea de la tarde Car Rider está abierta de 2:25 a 2:50.
-Cualquier persona que recoja a un estudiante en el carro de la tarde debe tener una etiqueta de carro válida de MTA. SIN EXCEPCIONES. No se aceptarán imágenes de etiquetas ni etiquetas escritas a mano. Puede comprar una etiqueta de auto en el gimnasio durante la jornada de puertas abiertas o en la oficina principal en cualquier momento durante el año escolar.
