MAP Testing For Parents

Next week all of our K-5 students will be taking the MAP Growth Assessment. ELA will be given on 12/6 and Math on 12/7. This computer-based adaptive assessment is administered 3 times per year and will give both teachers and parents a clear picture of what each student knows and is ready to learn next. This is the same test students took in August. When we return in January, an individual student report will be sent home that shows your student’s achievement percentile and growth percentile. Teachers will be using this data to inform their instruction to best meet the needs of our individual students. Please see the attached Informational Family Guide to MAP Growth Testing.
